Welcome to The Social Lyceum. My name is Onyeka and I’m a Canadian blogger looking to make a difference in the world.
This blog is meant to be a watering hole for millennials (or anyone else who stumbles in) to discuss digital marketing tips and social/political issues from across the globe.
My main goal is that every reader walks away more informed than when they first clicked on here.
As a millennial, I want to do my part and improve my city along with the world around me. Sometimes, it’s hard finding the time with our busy lives (i.e. Netflix, social media, work, family, friends) but I believe that each of us can be ambassadors to help enlighten our network about the issues facing the world today. This starts with learning more about the politics around us, the problems that keep you up at night or an issue that hits close to home so together, we can find solutions to help someone else across the world.
“Where there is unity, there is always victory.” (Publilius, 2016)
Unity is a powerful thing. We can all grow stronger together by learning new things, improving ourselves and sharing that knowledge across the digital globe.
We millennials will be the ones to change the world but first we must understand the problems it faces (from country to country) in order to discover new solutions and play our part as global citizens.
What are the issues you see in your town/city? How do you think you can change the world around you? What do you need help with (i.e. career, outlook, personal)?
Please drop a comment or send me a message if you have any particular topic(s) you want to see and who knows. You just might see it on here one day.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again. 🙂
